The Ideal State of Mind

A ideal State of Mind

An ideal state of mind fluctuates between thinking and engaged— whatever a current situation demands of you. There isn’t a formula that dictates when you should be in one state and when you should be in the other, but much like dancing, you need to find a rhythm and delicately move as the situation (or music) requires.

Mediation

Meditation

Try listening to your thoughts without critiquing. Attempt to stay neutral. Once you’ve mastered that try to consciously notice more, make an effort to practice and be present in the moment. The goal of spiritual life is not just to be blown through life like a leaf but is to have control over when I am thinking or not.

Vidhya Balan, Actress

I some times get astonished, where is this coming from. I guess my subconscious mind is bringing that out. I haven't learned dance or cooking, I wonder if, like the character Manjulika ( performed by actress Vidya Balan, in film 'Bhoolbuliya), my subconscious mind is at work or perhaps now the meditation is helping me to explore or call out different personalities that I have acquired as a result of the gifted power of observation. All creative persons are known to be deep thinkers. Creative people are intelligent and become knowledgable about religion, politics, niche subjects and the meaning of life in general.

It’s simply mesmerizing, suddenly for the last few years people around me, my friends, managers, colleagues are complementing and endorsing me, that you have become very positive and creative. Yesterday was a very fulfilling day, to start with, I received a message from Mr. Amit Trivedi (Circle, H.R Head, Vodafone). I quote

“ Eklavya was asked for his thumb by his guru as Guru Dakshina. I am not a guru neither do I seek any Dakshina. It’s your humility that you seat me on a high pedestal and say kind words for me. You seem to be a great learner and draw inspiration from myriad forms and spaces. Keep learning and applying the knowledge for the benefit of self and others.”

Creative people are conservative yet rebellious and they draw inspiration from their pain. Highly creative people often feel misplaced in a logical world, but they feel different for a reason. Creative people operate on a more intuitive and imaginative level than their counterparts. They are playful yet disciplined. Creative people tend to be both extrovert and introvert but they are realistic dreamers, their minds never slow down. They follow their true passions and are objective about their work. They are highly sensitive and need creative space to call their own.

Sumit Roy Bollywood , Scriptwriter
In the evening, suddenly I found myself interacting on Facebook messenger with Mr. Sumit Roy, a renowned Bollywood scriptwriter, discussing creative ideas: inspirations and motivation for his field of work, upcoming projects with Bollywood director, Mr. Neeraj Panday.

Now I feel, 'The law of attraction is working' in tandem with "Law of Karma". All my pain and suffering ( I was diagnosed with severe Ankolysing Spondylitis at the age of 19.) has taught me the greatest virtue is; Humility and Learning. It reassures me, to keep working hard follow my passion; keep chasing my dreams, continue one's voyage for eluding " Inner Peace"
